The current year international visiting fellows are Jonathan Wawire, MD, from Aga Khan University of Kenya and Lennie Quimio, MD, from Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, Manila, Philippines. The Luke Charitable Foundation has supported the education of international visiting fellows in Women’s Pathology since 2011.

Dr. James Sung Receives Luke Charitable Foundation of Rhode Island Award
C. James Sung, MD, Professor of Pathology, was awarded $20,000 by the Luke Charitable Foundation of Rhode Island in December 2018 in support of the International Visiting Fellowship in Gynecologic Pathology, Breast Pathology and Perinatal Pathology.
