This annual meeting is one of the largest conferences for oncology professionals, attracted 44,000 attendees. In this special ASCO education session, Dr. Cheng and other panelists discussed current and potential uses of AI in the management of prostate cancer, including AI applications in computational pathology, diagnostic imaging and genomic data interpretation, and treatment decision-making. Their findings will be published next month in the 2024 ASCO Educational Book.

Dr. Liang Cheng Chaired the ASCO Education Program on AI and Prostate Cancer
Dr. Liang Cheng, Professor of Pathology and Surgery/Urology, chaired and delivered a speech at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Education Program on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Prostate Cancer Care: A Path to Enhanced Efficiency and Outcomes” at the ASCO Annual Meeting in Chicago last week (May 31 – June 4, 2024).
