Dr. Wafik El-Deiry was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at the inaugural National Undergraduate Research Conference at Brown University.
Thanks to Michael Clarke, Shiven Sasipalli, Tenasica Barnwell, Reyes Garcia, Rayyan Bhuiyan, and the Pre-Health Society at Brown for organizing this great meeting with >200 undergraduates from over 125 universities to network and present.
The photo in the auditorium was taken at the beginning of the keynote. At the end, all seats were full with standing room only. After Dr. El-Deiry finished his keynote address, a question and answer period commenced with time running out due to the long line of undergrads from around the country. It was inspiring and energizing based on the questions and comments that were shared. The organizers should be congratulated and recognized by the University.
