Dr. Ece Uzun has received the International Association for Intelligent Medicine and Biology (IAIBM) Distinguished Service Award.  The announcement was made during the ICIBM 2025 event.  Dr. Uzun was one of the co-chairs of the scientific program committee at the International Conference on Intelligent Biology and Medicine (ICIBM) organized by IAIBM in 2024. She has also been invited to give talks at the ICIBM conference several times, chaired sessions and has served in leadership positions at IAIBM.
