Avery Maytin, an undergraduate in Computational Biology, received the Distinguished Poster Award for his poster, “Deep Learning-Based Model to Predict Burkitt Lymphoma Recurrence.” His work was selected from more than 600 poster presentations, marking a remarkable achievement.
Jessica Patricoski, a Computational Biology PhD candidate, had her recent paper titled "A deep learning model to predict glioma recurrence using integrated genomic and clinical data" highlighted in the AMIA Year-in-Review, which showcases the most influential research, breakthroughs, and emerging trends shaping the past year in informatics.
